Photo: “I have a choice, and I choose God!”

If something goes “wrong”, do I automatically wonder “Why me?” It is okay to wonder why something happened, but I do not let myself become so caught up in speculation that I take my focus off the realness of God.

God’s loving presence is within me. So when situations occur that threaten to overwhelm me, I have a choice : I can worry about what is happening or I can relax and know that no matter what happens, God is with me!

Even in situations where there seem to be no choices, there are. One of the greatest choices I can make is to trust God. By choosing God, I am choosing to see something meaningful in whatever may occur, and what is most meaningful in whatever may occur, and what is most meaningful is that I am opening myself to God’s love and goodwill.
